This is an exciting opportunity to join our North America Communications team to help drive awareness for Sage products and services in the United States. This will include an interesting mix of writing, editing, planning, and reporting to both external and internal audiences. The PR, Associate Manager should have a passion for inspiring and effective storytelling and be an emerging comms leader who is detail-oriented, while able to think about the big picture. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects at once. They should thrive on the challenge of operating in a fast-paced culture of innovation. This role reports to the PR Lead, Sage North America Medium Segment.
What You Will Do:
• Collaborate with internal teams to uncover and drive successful customer stories, media pitch angles, awards, and speaking opportunities that support the North America Go-to-Market strategy.
• Create, update, and maintain annual calendar of awards, product reviews, and speaking engagements for Sage North America leaders and products. Research and draft award entries and speaker pitches.
• Monitor and analyze effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicate insights with team.
• Support PR managers by tracking, evaluating, and sharing PR results and insights with Sage leadership.
• Maintain highly organized press lists and industry contact database.
• Liaise with the Social Media and Digital teams to ensure alignment with key launches, campaign execution, and core PR content programs.
• Monitor and report earned media placements.
• Research and originate Sage bylines, customer stories, press releases, and content for the company intranet.
• Edit and proofread communications content including by-lines, press releases, briefs, presentations, and articles.
• Ongoing research and monitoring of stakeholders, competitors, and communications trends.

What We Need You To Have:
• At least 3 years' previous experience and/or training that includes public/media relations, social media

What We Would Like For You To Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public relations, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Prefer 5 years’ of previous experience and/or training that includes public/media relations, social media
